Employer Information Sessions - Winter 2024
Registrations are now open to host an employer information session (EIS) this winter. This winter we are continuing with a hybrid model (with either virtual or in-person sessions offered). Our dedicated team is here to support you throughout the process.
Here's what you need to know:
- Each session costs $260 (plus applicable taxes) to host. This includes support from our team
- Events cannot be hosted concurrently targeting the same students for both closed and open sessions
- Your session should complement your student recruitment strategy, aligning with all jobs posted in WaterlooWorks. Review our recruiting dates for relevant posting dates.

- Your event will be posted on WaterlooWorks employer information sessions calendar and our social media channels
In-person sessions:
- We will host a maximum of 50 in-person sessions. The sessions will take place in the Tatham Centre between January and April 2024.
- Use our registration form to book. We will be scheduling the sessions on a first-come, first serve basis.
- Our official time slots for bookings are:
- 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (ET)
- 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (ET)
- 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (ET)
Virtual sessions:
- Virtual sessions can be hosted using Waterloo’s Cisco webex events or Microsoft teams. You are also welcome to use your own digital platforms.
- By using Waterloo’s platforms, you have access to virtual consultations for assistance, polling, data collection, pre-event test calls and chat monitoring support during the event.
