Description:

CAN-CWiC is the premier Canadian computing conference for young women and non-binary people in technology. This annual event has been offered since 2011 and features networking, learning, sharing and mentoring. CAN-CWiC embodies the mission of encouraging curiosity and awareness for the digital innovations that change the community and world around us. Bringing together leaders in research, education and industry from across Canada. Get inspired by stories from women who have been there and done that and how they succeeded.

Registration:

If you are a student interested in attending, contact your department, as many schools coordinate the sponsorship of a group of students to attend the conference. You can also register yourself via this website registration portal (opens in mid-September 2026).

Registration Types & Descriptions:

Student Tickets

Student – Sponsored (Full Conference)

Includes full conference access, accommodations and transportation (where applicable), and all conference meals. Registration code provided by sponsoring institution required.

Student – Non-Sponsored (Full Conference)

Includes full conference access, transportation (subject to availability), shuttle service, and all conference meals. Add-on: Shared Student CAN-CWIC Arranged Hotel Accommodations (limited availability)

Student – Non-Sponsored (Single Day)

Includes full conference access and meals on selected day. Transportation options may be available depending on your institution and location.

Faculty Tickets

Faculty – Full Conference

Includes access to all Friday and Saturday programming, all conference meals, and transportation (subject to availability). Eligible to book accommodations through the conference hotel block at the preferred conference rate.

Faculty – Friday/Saturday Single Day Tickets

Includes full conference access and meals on selected day. Transportation options may be available depending on your institution and location.  Eligible to book accommodations through the conference hotel block at the preferred conference rate.

Sponsors Tickets

Sponsor – Full Conference

Includes access to all Friday and Saturday programming and all conference meals. Eligible to book accommodations through the conference hotel block at the preferred conference rate. Registration code will be provided to sponsors with complimentary registration.

Refund Policy:

Registration fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, your ticket may be transferred to another attendee.
